For us, travel is about more than taking a vacation. With over 300 clubs and thousands of members worldwide, Friendship Force International connects people with its mission to promote global understanding across the barriers that separate people. Through home-hosting and meaningful travel experiences, participants learn about other cultures, develop a better understanding of our world, and discover our shared humanity.

It was an honor for Camp Courageous to be asked to host a delegation of Australian Friendship Force Members. This delightful group provided a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas, and each brought with them a true sense of kindness and love from their beautiful country, Australia.  Locally, Steve & Nancy Williams have been very involved in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Club for years and have brought many groups to see Camp Courageous.  A special thank you to Diane Jeffery for coordinating the event and doing a run through in advance of the visit.
