Every year, KCRG-TV9 honors nine exceptional individuals in eastern Iowa for their outstanding volunteer work in the community. This year, one of those individuals is Kevin Ahrendsen, who makes Camp Courageous an even better place to be.

Kevin’s connection to Camp runs deep—he was the youngest camper ever, joining at just 18 months old!

Today, he continues to give back by volunteering at Camp on Mondays and Fridays, while keeping things clean and orderly at Tiffiny’s Tipton Bakery on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Despite his busy schedule, Kevin’s commitment to both Camp and the bakery reflects his dedication to hard work and kindness.
