(Judy & Dale Hemingson)
Camp’s sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Judith Hemingson of Pleasant Hill, IA. For 20-years Dale & Judy Hemingson had been making Corian plaques for the Camp Courageous Indoor Swimming Pool to acknowledge donors. Board Member Jim Klinger introduced Camp to the Hemingsons, who were doing business with Cedar Memorial. In those 20-years Dale & Judy’s special price for Camp never changed. Dale & Judy worked the business, USA (Unique Sign of America), out of their garage for almost 25-years (1996). Dale had some health concerns and decided it was time to move the business on. He contacted Camp and gave Camp a super opportunity on his Gerber-Sabre-CNC Router in 2020. By 2021 Dale had passed, but the special relationship was kept alive through Judy’s support and kindness. She had continued to donate a great deal of material and supplies, as she found them. Dale & Judy had a wonderful relationship of 52-years…of spouse and partner. Judith was an exceptional nurse, by profession and touched the lives of many, with her genuine desire to help others. Camp Courageous will miss them both, dearly. Judy wished for her memorials to go to Camp Courageous. (www.campcourageous.og/donate)
