Camp Courageous’ sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Dennis Hamer, 57, of Center Point.  Dennis was a regular at Camp Courageous as he brought many busloads of students from the Center Point-Urbana School System to Camp.  From volunteers to students to campers, he genuinely loved bringing others to the Camp he grew up with and dearly loved. In addition, Dennis was very involved in the Center Point Lions, who have been great supporters of Camp for years.  Dennis’s mother, Fran (Ken) DeMarce, has been very active with the Camp since the 70s, so Dennis grew up, going to Camp Breakfasts and other Camp events.  Dennis will be dearly missed by all who knew him…
