Thank you to Jeff Schmatt from the for giving Camp Courageous the opportunity to provide them a program.   This Optimist Club has been supporting Camp Courageous for over 45-years (1976)!  I fondly remember splitting wood by hand with Gary Kouba (former WMT staffer) and the rest of the club, back in 1980, behind the old lodge.   Don Peterson, also a member, was among the first Petroleum Marketers to take camp under their wing in 1981.  Chuck Gartner is another of their great members who has provided Camp Courageous with some wonderful guidance and support over the years.   Most of their club members help at the camp’s breakfasts/open houses and other events.  Super group!  We always appreciate the opportunity to give them an update on camp.
