CEDAR VALLEY STREET RODS CELEBRATE THEIR 50TH
Camp Courageous has been very fortunate to have Camp’s dear friends, the Cedar Valley Street Rods, as super friends, and supporters for the vast majority of their history. A huge turnout of past and current members, recently took place to celebrate their 50-years. Four of the original members were on hand and received, unique 50th Anniversary Doors that had been pinstriped. (L-R) Brad Johnson, Dave Swenka, Roger Hindman, and Whitey Hermanson. The C.V.S.R. began supporting Camp Courageous in 1984, when they bought several hundred dollars’ worth of Life Investors 25th Anniversary Sports Car Raffle Tickets. From then on, we were hooked on each other. Camp Courageous became the charity to benefit from their car shows, like the Cannonball Run. They made sidewalks for the camp. They painted the interior of the prior pool. They built the current Arts and Crafts Building. And more than anything, they have been dear friends for decades. Dozens of the nicest people, one could ever meet! Congratulations!
