(L-R) Cid Chatfield  and Carol Boge of Dubuque, delivered hundreds-of-dollars in supplies for Camp Courageous’ arts & crafts program.  Cid (Cindy) started at Camp Courageous in 1978 as an intern from the University of Northern Iowa and worked through 1980.  She later came back in the 90s and worked a couple years.  She was an exceptional leader…very dedicated to the campers and their needs.  That dedication for those with special needs carried on in her career at Hills & Dales and at Luther Manor, all in Dubuque.  Cid’s dear parents realized firsthand the hard work, long hours, and dedication of the staff and would invite the staff over for meals, regularly.  Miss them all…
