Cookies BBQ Wagon Benefit for Camp Courageous

Duane “Speed” Herrig, also known as “The Sauceman,” is bringing his Cookies BBQ Wagon back to Monticello, IA to benefit Camp Courageous at the Monticello Fareway on October 16, 17, and 28 (2024). Speed is a founding member of the Iowa Barbecue Society and owner of Cookies Food Products in Wall Lake, Iowa. Speed started in the barbecue sauce business in the 1970’s and is a legend across the Midwest, making Camp Courageous grateful that he chose them to be part of this benefit.

Monticello Fareway Parking Lot – 433 N Farley St, Monticello, IA

Wednesday, October 15 from 4 PM to6 PM,
Thursday, October 16 from 11 AM to 6 PM
Friday, October 17 from 10 AM to 5 PM

One can also preorder a whole smoked loin (pre-order required)
Whole loins must be ordered by Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
