A huge thank you to the Dixon IL Council No. 690, Knights of Columbus for their support of Camp Courageous.  Their gift was in memory of Martin Hermes, 40, of Sterling, IL.  Martin was a favorite at Camp Courageous and came for nearly 20-years, during Lions Visually Impaired Week.  Martin continues to inspire others…  It was heartwarming when Jim & Chris Hermes came to camp, the staff remembered Martin and so enjoyed telling Martin stories…all were touched by Martin’s role in their lives.
