A special thank you to Bob Greco (no relation to Leo Greco…but both have their roots in Italy) for inviting Camp Courageous to give a program to long time Camp Courageous supporters, the .  The program began with a special acknowledgement of Darlene Vorhies, an advocate of Camp Courageous in the Fairfield area since 1978!  Darlene and the Knights sent thousands of campers to Camp Courageous over the decades.  It was a treat to visit with Honorary Board Member, Carol Vorhies’ sister, Mary.  Honorary Board Members, Dan & Carol Vorhies, had their roots in the Fairfield/Lockridge area.  It was also a treat to visit with former student, Bert Peterson.  It was a perfect evening of great food and great fellowship.  Could not have asked for a more heartwarming evening.  It was so nice to have the opportunity to personally come and say thank you for this groups decades of support (started in 1978).
