Camp Courageous would like to thank Honorary Board Member, Randy Lee and WMT for broadcasting live from this year’s Waffle Breakfast and Open House.

Randy Lee joined the ranks of such legends as Tait Cummins and Leo Greco, by being unanimously elected by the Camp Courageous Board of Directors to the Camp Courageous Honorary Board….the highest honor Camp can bestow on anyone.

45-years ago, Dotty Cummins, wife of sports legend, Tait Cummins, told a 25-year-old teacher, new to Camp Courageous…that “if it wasn’t for WMT, there would be no Camp Courageous”…it obviously resonated, after all these years…I have never forgot it…but I did not fully grasp the comment.  Back then, few had heard of Camp Courageous and the Camp was struggling to survive.  WMT brought the words, ‘Camp Courageous’, into the lives of thousands.

Randy Lee has been a part of the fabric that has made Camp Courageous what it is, for decades.  At any point in time, he had the ability to stop the relationship.  He not only did not stop it, he grew the relationship!  Even to the point that his son, Chris was married at Camp Courageous!
