A special thank you to the Iowa City Knights of Columbus Marquette Council 842 for inviting Camp Courageous to their dinner and check presentation from the Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities (CPID).  These wonderful gentlemen presented the check, and they look forward to a visit to Camp Courageous when it warms up.  (L-R) Neil Kumor, Darrin Thompson, and Matt McAndrew…each a real gem!  The donation was made in memory of Nancy Thompson, a true trailblazer and advocate for those with disabilities.  Nancy left a lasting legacy of love, compassion, and service.  Nancy lived a life filled with grace, humility, and purpose. Nancy’s memorials came to Camp Courageous and is the mother of Darrin. (www.campcourageous.org/donate).
