Jeff Pitlik Arranges For Quail To Be Added To Camp’s Wildlife, With Campers Being A Part Of The Release
Thank you to Camp Volunteer, Jeff Pitlik, for arranging a donation of Quail to Camp. Upon their release at Lake Todd, Jeff explained to campers how they could tell the difference between a male and female, their distinctive calls, which typically sound like high-pitched whistle or warbling chirps, how they like to bunch together for protection, how they like to eat insects, and would rather walk or run vs. flying and so much more. All present learned a lot.
