Kay Morris, 85, of Solon, recently passes…
Kay Morris, 85, of Solon, recently passed. Kay was the matriarch of a wonderful family of six children (Greg, Tim, Maureen, Mark, Michael, & Ann) and husband of 61-years, Bob. After Bob Morris passed, a couple years ago, it was a special treat for Camp Courageous to have some of the Bob Morris Family stop by Camp with Bob’s Memorials. Kay Morris, (center) was on Facebook and saw where Camp Courageous needed a commercial popcorn popper. Bob loved popcorn, so it only made sense that Bob’s memorial money be used to buy the Camp a new commercial popcorn popper. A wonderful family! (L-R) Ann Morris, Elise Morris, Kay Morris, Max Kinney and Maureen Kinney. Kay enjoyed family riding the zipline this particular day and stayed in close touch with the camp up to her recent passing. Bob & Kay were dear friends of the Camp through Bob’s DX Service Station in Solon, through their friendship with Leo Greco, and through their never-ending support of Camp. Camp had a raffle of a 1940 Ford Yellow Convertible, donated by Helen Arnold in about 1989, and Bob & Kay won! They had more fun with that old car. Kay wished for her memorials to go to the donors’ charity of choice. If one would like to honor Kay through a gift to Camp Courageous: https://campcourageous.org/donate-now/ Camp’s sincerest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Kay Morris…she leaves a wonderful legacy…
