Long Time Jesup Supporter, Marlene Mangrich, 87, Passes…

Camp Courageous is saddened upon the passing of Marlene Mangrich, 87, of Jesup, IA.  Attached is a beautiful picture of Marlene, always smiling and always there to help another person in need.  It was always a joy to see Marlene annually at the Jesup KC Thanksgiving Dinner and presentation of Tootsie Roll donations (Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities), along with her decades of coming to Camp with her friends from Jesup for a breakfast/open house or just to visit.  Marlene’s maiden name was Becker…so there was always a sense of pride in the family name we shared.  Marlene worked for Frost Oil for years, where our bond, only grew with the likes of Bernard Frost, Honorary Board Member Norb Bahl (who started the relationship between Camp Courageous and the Petroleum Marketers of Iowa), along with many others (Clete, Butch, Carol…).  Camp’s sympathy goes out to Marlene’s Family and Friends.  Marlene wished for her memorials to go to Camp Courageous (www.campcourageous.org/donate).
