Camp Courageous is saddened by the recent passing of Helen E. Rodenberg, 87, of Cottage Grove Place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Helen was involved in Camp Courageous for over 25-years.  She was a delightful lady and a wonderful supporter.  Back in October of 2018 Helen wrote, “On 10/12/18 I was a member of the Cottage Grove Group who came to Camp and went ziplining.  What fun-absolutely loved it!  Thanks to all for the great experiences!”   Helen was a strong, smart, incredibly funny, fiercely independent, and accepting beyond measure.   It was always a treat to see and visit with Helen, while visiting Cottage Grove Place.  In lieu of flowers, Helen wished for her memorial donations be made in Helen’s name to Camp Courageous (www.campcourageous.org/donate).
