CAMP COURAGEOUS IS SEARCHING FOR THE NEXT CEO

Over the years, I have intentionally tried to stay out of the spotlight, ensuring the focus remains where it belongs; on the Camp’s campers, staff, volunteers, and incredible supporters who make Camp Courageous what it is today and will be in the future. I love it when campers and their families say “Coming to Camp Courageous is the highlight of their year”. I have been incredibly fortunate to have been a very small part of this organization.

I have had the good fortune to spend the past 45 years in a leadership role at Camp Courageous, it was not what I was planning to do when I grew up, but I could not have asked for a more wonderful career and life.  I have been EXTREMELY blessed, with so many friends and opportunities as a result.

I am not planning to retire, but to transition from the day-to-day operations of Camp Courageous to focus on the Camp Courageous Foundation, something I helped Dr. Earl DeShaw start in 1980. The Foundation has been and will continue to be critical to the future of Camp Courageous.

Thank you for helping make the past 45+ years of my life a true joy!

Charlie
