The 18-hole miniature golf course at Camp Courageous was designed so that the entire course can be accessed by everyone. As campers move from hole to hole, they are able to easily exit the course to take care of any personal needs. When they are ready to return, they can go back and resume at the hole they left from. Barriers are minimal so that individuals with wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility devices can move with minimal effort.

How can you help?
Although the Miniature Golf Course is completely constructed, the project is not entirely funded. If you would like to make a contribution toward this project then please use the contribution page. Various levels of support are available, but any amount is appreciated.
History and Construction
Bud and Georgia Johnson stepped forward with a donation to help make the Accessible Golf Course a reality. Their title sponsorship of the project has helped create a fully accessible activity for the campers at Camp Courageous. Their support of this project, along with several others, will leave a lasting legacy in their name at Camp Courageous.
Construction on the Bud and Georgia Johnson Accessible Golf Course started in the early spring of 2023. Camp Courageous worked with Harris Miniature Golf Course Team from Scranton, PA, a premier designer and builder of custom miniature golf courses. The Harris staff that worked this project thought the world of Camp Courageous, which lead to the President of the Company, Salvatore Conaboy, flying/driving to see Camp Courageous firsthand. Camp appreciated Harris discounting the project by having their crew stay in the Camp’s dormitory and eat meals at Camp along with using some of Camp’s equipment and staff.
Pictured are members of the crew from Harris: (L-R) Ryan Obyole, John Knight, Noah Lehey, Sal Conaboy, and Monk (Monkey). This team worked from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week, including Easter Sunday! Camp staff were very impressed by their efforts.
Pictured is the miniature golf course as it was being constructed. Each green and pathway was formed and poured by the construction crew.
Camp Courageous looked to Musco Lighting when considering having the Miniature Golf Course lit for nighttime use. When Musco was approached for the lighting solution, they recognized the need and designed an enhanced version of lighting for the project. They stepped up not only financially but aligned Camp with installation professionals to ensure the lighting project was yet another world class project.
