Nearly a year ago the Camp Courageous’ Board of Directors and I determined, as I was approaching 70-years-old, it was time to look for a successor to be the next CEO of Camp Courageous, as I moved to the Camp Courageous Foundation.

On January 15, 2025, we announced the search for a successor.   My philosophy at Camp has always been spread lots of seeds and in time, some will take hold and grow…that is my philosophy here.  I would like to put the word out to family and friends, if you know someone who you think could take Camp Courageous to new heights, please send them our way.  The camp has a stable and wonderful Board, Staff, Campers, and Supporters.  I plan to be 100% engaged in the transition…and always a phone call away…  Ideally it would be nice to find someone that has a large network of friends…that can compliment Camp Courageous 25,000+ friends…to help grow the future.  I cannot imagine a more rewarding job…surrounded by exceptional people…who will quickly become some of the new CEO’s dearest friends.  Please consider helping us spread the word by sharing this post….thank you!
