Camp Courageous is saddened by the passing of Wayne A. Whitham, 70, of Pella IA and Queen Creek, AZ.  Camp is grateful to Wayne’s wife, Jackie, for visiting Camp with Wayne’s memorials.  Wayne was a wonderful person, a friend to many, a stranger to none.  Wayne was second of a three-generation legacy with Brown’s Shoe Fit Co.   Wayne was extremely active in many organizations that were all about ‘service to others.”  Wayne’s grandson, Paxton is a camper at Camp Courageous.  Camp’s sympathy goes out to Jackie, family, and friends.  Memorials went toward a bench on the new nature trail and will go toward camperships to give others the opportunity to enjoy Camp.  https://campcourageous.org/donate/
