Camp Courageous offers a variety of rental opportunities, from crafting weekends to corporate events, weddings, and experiential education programs.
This past weekend, the camp hosted the Heartland Regional Conference for the Association of Experiential Education. The Heartland Region includes Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.
Educators from across these areas gathered to teach, learn, and collaborate on adventure-based and experiential education. As part of the event, attendees also enjoyed a few hours of laser tag, ensuring fun was had by all.

Camp Courageous is a great place for retreats and special events, not just conferences. Recently, a Quilting Retreat was held at Camp, using the gym and dorms. The group needed plenty of space, tables, chairs, sleeping areas, a full kitchen, and bathrooms—Camp had it all covered.
“We recently rented the gym at Camp Courageous for a Quilting Retreat. The Camp personnel were over the top accommodating of what all I needed. I needed a facility that would hold up to 25 women, we needed tables and chairs for everyone and sleeping spots for all the women. We also needed a full kitchen and bathroom facilities. We toured through the gym and the connecting dorm to see what they had to offer. It was exactly what I was hoping for. I cannot tell you how many women complimented the facility upon arrival and how they had everything that we needed in one building. They could drive right up to the door and unpack their belongings. This was so convenient being the ages of these women varied from 25-89 years old. We will be back we are hoping to have a retreat every spring and every fall. Everyone had a wonderful time we cannot thank the Camp and their topnotch employees enough for all they did for us. What an AMAZING place!!!! It is definitely something EVERYONE should see. I cannot thank the Camp enough for all they do.
