Thank you to Jerry Bumgarner (L) for inviting Camp Courageous to give a program to the West Branch Area Kiwanis Club.  Had an absolutely wonderful evening!  Enjoyed visiting with Ruth Farmer, (second from the right), who was part of Convenient Singers who would perform for campers beginning in the early 80s…something Tom Brooke of West Liberty was key on bringing to Camp.  Ruth’s late husband Jim, was key in starting the West Branch Area Kiwanis, along with our dear late friend, John Green of Iowa City (Old Capitol Kiwanis).  (R) Sara Oswald, West Branch High School Principal, talked of better understanding now, when students visit about the great time, they have going to Camp Courageous…a super school system within a super community…West Branch!
