Campers visit the NFL Draft!
The wait is over. The Camp Courageous Travel crew packed up, hit the open road, and made their way north. The destination: Green Bay. The NFL Draft was calling, and we weren’t about to let it happen without us.
The crew landed at the Airbnb, a rugged, lakeside cabin. The kind of place where the night air smells like pine, and time slows down just enough to let you breathe.
We threw a watch party worthy of the occasion. Finger foods lined the table like loyal foot soldiers, pizza, chicken tenders, mini corn dogs, and enough sauces to drown a linebacker. Campers called out picks, cheered, groaned, and rode the highs and lows like seasoned draft vets. It was a ritual.
And now, it’s on to Day 2. But this time, we trade the couch for the stadium. We’ll be there, in the thick of it, surrounded by the madness. Because some things you just have to experience in person.
Day 2
The travel group hit the NFL Draft today, and what a day it was. Rain or cloudy skies, the crew came ready for an adventure. From the moment we arrived, the excitement was in the air. campers buzzing with energy, soaking in the sights, sounds, and everything in between.
The crew grabbed merch, chased down autographs, swapped stories with fans from all over, and cheered through every pick. The rain came down, but it couldn’t slow us down. If anything, it made the memories better. It was aday where you laugh a little louder and hang onto every moment.
The draft was everything we hoped for. The hype, the surprises, the crowd, the energy, it all delivered. the crew had an unforgettable time, and we can’t wait to do it again sometime in the future.
Day 3
It was the final day of the trip, and like all good adventures, it ended on the road. We packed up, weary but content, and headed out, the open highway stretching ahead.
There was a stop in Dubuque for lunch, a pick-up, and a chance to savor a few more miles together. Then, back to Camp Courageous, where families waited, eager to hear the stories and see the faces of their campers.
Green Bay had been good to us. A trip marked by laughter, new sights, and the kind of moments you don’t script. Just lived.
