Robert Gallery started his relationship with Camp Courageous as a Boy Scout, doing a project at Camp.  The Camp Courageous relationship grew with his football career at Iowa…which grew with his pro career.  He did things like ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ with Camp Courageous as the recipient of the $10,000 prize!  He put on a kickball benefit for the Camp with the campers participating.  He spent a lot of time at Camp Courageous and loved the good it was doing, for those not as capable as he.

For Robert to tell his story speaks volumes…he has a heart as big as he is…a gentle giant.

Robert comes from a wonderful farm family near Winthrop.  The whole family have been at Camp to support events.  His brother, Jay Gallery, is Director of Operations with camp’s dear friends at Dave Schmitt Construction.  Board member, Jim Zimmerman had them all in school.

Robert was on the front of the Courier (in the hallway)…with an autographed copy in my office…along with an autographed kickball-up on the shelf, from the tournament he sponsored.

So happy for Robert, his wife, Becca, and family…they are Iowa Nice!  This article will help more people, than Robert could ever imagine…can’t thank him enough…
