Thank you to Clara Cook, who has, for decades, brought needed items to Camp Courageous.  Clara started supporting Camp in 1981 as a Center Point Lioness.  Both Clara and her husband, Joe, attended the International Lions Convention in 1981…19-years later they merged all into one Lions Club.  Clara and Joe loved to dance and between Eastern Iowa and Texas in the winter, they went to dances several times a week.  They of course loved Camp’s friends and band leaders, Leo Greco, Johnny Ketelsen, and Dave Dighton.  Strangely, Dave Dighton and Joe Cook died on the same day, January 30, 2021.  Joe was 84 and Clara and Joe had been married for 47-years…
