For over 40-years Bob & Ruth (Ambuehl) Otten have been loyal supporters of Camp Courageous, particularly to the Camp’s Campership Program.  They truly had a deep love and appreciation for the work being done at Camp Courageous.  In addition, they hardly ever missed a camp event.  Ruth (Ambuehl) Otten, 93, of Cedar Rapids recently passed.  Ruth was born in Monticello, IA, so had the opportunity to watch Camp Courageous grow from nothing to what it is today.  She was always so pleased with the growth and how it touched so many lives.  Will miss her phone calls, wonderful notes, her compassionate personality in life and as a greeter at Teahen’s Funeral Home.  A wonderful person, Ruth would like her memorials to come to Camp Courageous (www.campcourageous.org/donate).
