REM-Iowa Campers give back to Camp Courageous!

There’s something pretty special about friends helping friends!

Camp Courageous recently welcomed a wonderful delivery from REM-Iowa of Dubuque, where campers Helen, Jenny and Dawn, along with Program Supervisor Brittany, stopped by Camp with a BIG donation of everyday supplies!

From medical and personal care items to paper towels, hand soap, cleaning supplies, laundry baskets and more — these are the kinds of items that get used every single day at Camp and make a bigger difference than you might think.

This donation was made possible through REM-Iowa’s Community Outreach funds, which give the individuals they serve an opportunity to give back and support other organizations in their community.

Making this connection even more special is April Kamm, Program Supervisor with REM-Iowa of Dubuque, who also serves as a member of the Camp Courageous Medical Team. April isn’t pictured, but Camp is lucky to have her as part of the Camp family!

A HUGE Camp Courageous thank you to REM-Iowa of Dubuque, April, Brittany, Helen, Jenny and Dawn for thinking of Camp and arriving with such a generous delivery. It takes a lot of everyday items to keep Camp running year-round — and friends like these help make it all possible!
