A big thank you to Bev Atkinson of Edgewood, IA who suggested a tour of Camp Courageous for the J-5 RV Park, 2024 Summer Reunion.  Bev had been to Camp on many occasions with other groups and thought this group would love to visit…and they did!  They had the opportunity to see the campers enjoying the camp and all the beautiful facilities.  Many commented that they particularly like the fact that the Camp does not take government funding…  This group represents folks, mostly from Iowa, who travel to Mission, TX each year to spend the winter.  The park they stay in was started by a person from Central City, IA who had 5-kids, thus the J-5.  Thank you to Bev and this wonderful group!  Camp Courageous welcomes tours of the camp…or camp will come to your group…just call 319/4655916 to set-up a time.
