Camp Courageous Presentation To The Waterloo John Deere ABLEd Group

A huge thank you to Kristy Zimmerman Twaites for giving Camp Courageous the opportunity to visit with the Waterloo John Deere ABLEd group about Camp Courageous.  The presentation was also broadcast throughout the entire John Deere network.  The presentation featured Kristy’s parents, Jim & Mary Zimmerman whose Camp Courageous volunteerism spans 5-generations, starting with Jim’s mother, continuing with Jim & Mary’s great grandchild, and spanning nearly 50-years!  Lots of wonderful discussion and questions came from the program.  John Deere employees have played a pivotal role at Camp Courageous since the beginning, from campers, to volunteers, to donors, to exceptional leaders.  In addition John Deere, as a company, has been a wonderful partner of Camp Courageous’ throughout the years.
