Thank you to Megan Lehman and the Cedar Rapids Kiwanis Club for inviting Camp Courageous to give a program to their group.  (They meet at Mercy’s Plumb Heart Center’s Conference Center on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, 12:30-1:30 PM.)  Very engaging group, with a lot of history with Camp Courageous.  They had collected a carload of needed supplies, along with making a check presentation.  Camp Courageous is grateful for their years of support.  This group has always been very dedicated to giving back to their community, with projects like the Miracle Field at Prospect Meadows.  A large folder was presented to the club, containing the earliest years of the forming of the Miracle League Field at Prospect Meadows, which Camp Courageous was very involved, nearly 15-years ago. What a success story that project has been in the eyes of many Camp Courageous Campers!
