This week, Camp staff, RoHernandez and Kaite Ryan, were welcomed to Empowering Abilities Discovery West location to share in all the access Camp Courageous offers for them to overall recreation opportunities from weeklong sessions to travel trips! The audience included campers of the past, present, and new friends that we can’t wait to welcome come June!
Now this presentation was not just any, it includes dance competitions, joking with friends and some friendly competition between 8 teams of individuals. Team names included Cubbies and Hawks.
The competition was especially fierce when the Elvis Presley impression/dance kicked off. Jaime and Matt were neck in neck for their teams dance off their blue suede shoes.
At the end of the presentation, all individuals found out that they were invited to sign up for a tour of camp to come experience it for themselves come June 9th for a VIP experience, crafted just for them.
