A special thank you to Honorary Board Members Dennis & Janet Zahrt for inviting Camp Courageous to be a part of the 60th Anniversary Celebration at Ridgecrest Village in Davenport, their new home! Camp Courageous loves to be invited to these special events for campers as well as supporters! Had a wonderful visit with Davenport’s Mayor, Jason Gordon, Patrick McDonald the CEO of Ridgecrest, along with dozens and dozens of other friends of Denny and Janet. Visited with friends of Tait Cummins, Leo Greco, and many other great Camp Courageous supporters over the years. Was surprised, everyone we visited with knew about Camp Courageous! One of the big reasons is Dennis and Janet are always wearing something that says Camp Courageous (like the Camp Courageous hat Denny is wearing in the picture)…and people ask and they tell…great ambassadors! If you have a special event, would like a Camp Courageous program given to your group, or a tour of Camp Courageous please call 319/480-5302. -cwb
