Long-Time Camp Nurse, Rose Hubler, Passes

Camp Courageous is deeply saddened with the passing of long-time Camp Nurse, Rose Hubler.  Rose was Camp’s Nurse from the mid-80s to the early 90s.  Rose was a soft spoken, good and caring nurse that always put the needs of others first.  Her comforting and compassionate ways provided a natural calming effect for campers and staff to confide.  She always had the time to listen.  She loved Camp Courageous and Camp Courageous loved her.  A Camp Nurse, like Rose, often becomes a camper’s next closest thing to their parent.  Rose was a second parent to many.  Rose was simply a good and caring person…salt of the earth…and her early passing is extra hard.  Camp’s sympathy goes out to Rose’s Family and Friends.
