When you’re at camp it’s always a Party, but have you ever been to a “Paint Party?” This was an exceptionally colorful Respite that involved paint projects, hanging out with the animals, dance parties, and of course making new friends. Campers were free to explore their creative side, but that doesn’t begin to cover the fun that was experienced and the joy that was witnessed. During the Respite we had Nursing students from University of Dubuque and Northeast Iowa Community College along with Volunteers from the University of Iowa and the University of Northern Iowa. They all helped make the weekend magical, and a party was had indeed!
