Camp Courageous would like to thank Ann Burton (front right) for giving the Camp the opportunity to present to her P.E.O., Chapter KZ, at the beautiful Vintage Cooperative in Iowa City (special thank you to John from Vintage, for assisting with the Audio/Video).  Ann’s daughter, Sara Burton, has been coming to Camp Courageous since the age of 9-years-old in 1999 (27-years-ago).  Sara has experienced the full spectrum of Camp Courageous, from Respite Weekends; to attending Camp with her school (including Iowa City West High-Mr. Steve Merkle); to weeklong sessions, to Camp’s Travel Program.  Sara has traveled throughout Iowa and the entire country, including Alaska!  In addition, Sara has traveled with Camp’s Travel Program internationally to places like Ireland, France, and England.  Sara is excited over her upcoming trips to an Indiana Fevers Game and a Disney Cruise.  This group was a true delight.  Totally engaged, with several telling of their wonderful experiences at Camp Courageous, having toured and participated in activities with groups from Oaknoll.
