Some people simply leave footprints. Others leave an imprint on your heart. She never tried to fit the mold. She thought deeply, loved fiercely, welcomed everyone with open arms, a cup of black coffee, and a conversation that often turned into a spirited discussion. Every visit with Maggie was a gift, and every person who knew her walked away a little richer because of it.

Maggie and her beloved husband, George, were treasured members of the CampCourageous family for decades, giving their time, talents, and hearts through countless events and activities. Even after George’s passing, Maggie’s love for Camp and her community never wavered.

People like Maggie remind us that the greatest legacy isn’t measured by titles or accomplishments, but by the lives we touch, the conversations we inspire, the kindness we share, and the courage to simply be ourselves.

What a remarkable life. What an incredible legacy. What a tremendous loss.
