Beloved Camper, Mark Kadlec, 70, of Cedar Rapids Passes

Camp Courageous is deeply saddened by the passing of the very beloved camper, Mark Kadlec, 70, of Cedar Rapids.  Mark was a trail blazer, back during some of the early years of the Camp.  He had a personality of compassion that radiated everywhere he went.  He was such a good and caring and loving person.  On many occasions it was Mark helping counselors with other campers.  Just a wonderful human being.  Mark loved dances and special events at Camp.  He particularly loved Fonzie, Hulk Hogan, John Wayne, hot rods, professional wrestling, and the Hawkeyes.  He was dearly loved and he will be dearly missed.  The family asked that Mark’s memorials go to Camp Courageous.
