It is with great sadness that we learned Camper Peter C. Nicholson, 76, of Albany Township, Maine, has passed.  Pete enjoyed a close relationship with all of his brothers and especially loved to visit his brother Bob and his wife Mary in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he developed a close relationship with her family.  Pete came to camp often over the years and particularly enjoyed traveling with Camp’s Travel Program.  From San Antonio, TX, to Yellowstone, to Toronto, ON Canada; Pete enjoyed the opportunities Camp offered.  Received this wonderful note from Peter’s Family.

We received notification of your family’s donation to Camp Courageous in Peter’s memory.

You are most generous, and Peter Nicholson would be pleased.
Pete loved his time at Camp Courageous.  Your staff was accommodating and of tender spirit.  Peter felt that unconditional affection and always looked forward to his annual visit.
He also felt safe which is so important to him and his family.
And he loved his travel with Rolo.
